Wow... where do I begin? Let's see.... I have since the last entry, 6 months ago,
Finished the hallway. It looks very nice now all the same color walls, not the mismatching colors it was before. New curtains
and all. I have begun to do Dyami's room. I have 4 planets on the walls and just need to add color to them so they look like
planets and not big white-ish balls on his walls. He still needs two more sets of curtains, but have since started other projects
and will one day get back to it.
One such project is the garden. So it's been started for a long time now, but last entry was talking
of snow.. there has been no snow for a while now. I had a nice bunch of peas, not so many as I would have liked.. but I wasn't
even here to enjoy them anyway. (I'll get to that) I have a nice and small batch of cucumbers and beans too. I have two small
pumpkins as of now... I hope I get more at least two more so fights don't break out when it's time to pick them. I need four
so each child has one of their own. There is still time, the plants are still flowering. Aside from the garden I have been
doing other gardening like things. I dug up around my original rose and added two more, purple and orange roses. So now I
have 3 different colors for roses. I'm very happy to see they are blooming again, I missed the first bloom of the new plants
and never got the pictures of them I really wanted. I have also planted 3 new trees in varius parts of my yard. I have lilacs
now. They did not bloom this year, not even sure if they were supposed to, but they are all green and I have hopes they will
thrive next year. I have irises coming in the next month or so and those will go along side the garage. I have also aquired
some flowers from my friend and have put those around the bird bath which I got to cover the crazy hole of concrete in the
back yard. No idea why we have one there and never really liked it, it's just the right size to fit a kid's foot and down
they go with a broken ankle. Thats about all the outdoors planting I had going on in the past months. Who knows what next
year will bring, I keep picturing myself digging up different parts of the lawn all year long to either smooth out the lawn
and plant it to grass (not the weed things I have now) or to plant flowers.
Last month we took a trip to visit Mike. It was hotter than I liked but I should have expected
that in July, and with no air conditioner in the van. The drive was long and boring, but we had fun once we got there. The
kids still love to talk about Disney Land. We look forward to seeing Mike again this month. At least this time I don't have
to drive 2000 miles across boring salt flats or over huge mountains. Both of which were fun to see, but not so fun to drive
through.
Nothing new to report with the kids, really. Sophie had a broken leg. She jumped off the couch and
landed the wrong way and broke her leg 3 weeks before we were to go to California. We took the cast off the morning we left
too. One week early. It was still healing when we were out there, but looking at her move now, you'ld never think her leg
was broken a month ago. Dyami starts kindergarten in September and Celeste starts 4th grade. We are going to try to get Lexi
into a speech therapy class at the school too, because at her age, she should be talking a whole lot better than she is. Still
working on the potty training thing, but she just doesn't want to.
I have left my job once again due to the military. I can't keep up what I have been doing these past
6 months. I have been dropping the kids off at Mom's and then going to work one day a week. It's been bothering me to be driving
that extra hour each day and making me kind of cranky before work too. That and when school starts I'd have to lose another
hour of work the only day I worked because I didn't feel right about the idea of leaving Dyami outside the school for
that long alone. Celeste would be in the playground where the big kids go into school, and Dyami would have to wait up front
where the little kids go in. So I told my boss I just couldn't work while they are in school. So I didn't exactly quit, but
I don't exactly have a job anymore... it's all very odd. But what am I gunna do? I'm sure I can get it back easy enough when
Mike comes home, assuming I'll even want it back then.
In the time Mike has been gone I have been trying to keep busy and occupied so as to not go coocoo.
I have joined an online moms club kind of thing and have joined a few groups in the club. One of which is a crocheting
group. I have partaken in two of the swaps already taken place. I have a very nice afghan to call my own from the first one,
and some very cute ornaments from the second. I have been keeping busy with my crocheting. I am working on an afghan for Sohpia
in purple colors and geometric shapes. It's looking nice yet progressing slowly because I am also working on spagetti monster
hats and little dragons. (all crocheted) I have one hat almost completed and one dragon done. I have wings for a fairy I may
do too. I've even been crocheting some jewelry too.
On top of the crocheting I've been doing I managed to build a shelf for the attic. I'm just waiting
to find a someone to help me move it up there. But I really am not trying too hard, Mike will be home in 2ish weeks and he
can help me then. It's the start of the new look for the attic. I needed new shelves because I got new fabric from mom and
dad.
Well I think I have gone over just about everything thats been going on lately. I know I can say
I'll try to keep this updated, but some days I just don't have time. So I'll say check back every now and then. I may surprise
you and have something updated.

Well, where do I begin. I finished Celeste's room. Even the curtains. She likes them,
I kind wish I would have been more observant because they are a cactus print. Which is hardly part of an underwater
theme. I started painting the hallway, and have just minor touching up and finishing to do, but kind of got sick of climbing
up and sonw the ladder to do it. So I moved into Dyami's room with my painting. It's black!! I know everyone gasped and thought
"Is she nuts!" And the answer to that would be quite possible. But it does look rather nice thus far. His room is a space
theme, to match the curtains he picked out a while ago. His room already has a sun right below the light, that glows in the
dark. We'll see just how well and long it'll glow tonight after a whole day of charging. I painted it an hour before bedtime
so it really did not have that long to charge up. I painted a metalic Pluto in a corner and he had an asteroid belt in another
corner. I have paint for the 8 planets and have yet to plan out where they are all going to be and how big they will be. I
garuntee they are not to scale what so ever nor will the room be any sort of realistic representation of what the solar system
really looks like, but then again Celeste's isn't a realistic representation of what real life underwater looks like. Aside
from all my painting projects going on everyone seems to getting sick. Lexi threw up the other day Sophie had a fever yesterday,
I have a cold and feel like gunk most of the time. The only one thats not sick right now is Celeste because I think she gave
it to all of us last week when she was sick. I am also needless to say SICK and TIRED of all the snow!!! I don't know how
much more of it I can take. I'm so sick of it I stopped shoveling. In the begining I shoveled all the time, MY driveway and
most of the alley was always pretty enough for me to back out no problems, I've stopped all together. After it rained and
then snowed the other week I've had it. My tires froze to the driveway and thankfully released so I could go about my day,
but I can't even pul all the way into the driveway cuz it's so slippery. I tried today, just to see if I could, I could
not. I started to slip and my back end started to swurve in the driveway so I stopped and sit half way in the middle of the
driveway, no biggy really. I have no one else to share it with right now. I can't wait until summer thats for sure, I'm sick
of snow and slippery and ice and cold. Man am I sick of the cold. Well it's off to go paint or sew or something else a little
more productive.

Time for my semi-annual update. And so begins the time while Mike is away learning a new language. I've painted
the little girls' room already, well Mike helped with that before he left, but I have to do the finishing touches on the doors.
It's really quite cute looking. We finally finished the sponge bob bathroom. too bad the sticker border is pelling off each
day. Kind of a bummer. I have started to paint parts of Celeste's room. Kind of a birthday present to her to have her room
started. No money to but enough paint for the whole room. Well off to do other things, I have many plans for home improvment
while Mike is away. Closed down my online shop too... with no sales since the first 2 months it was opened seems kinda of
pointless to keep it up and running. Oh well... until next time.
(10/16/2007)
Well so much for updating this more often. I've just stayed offline more often. Well I do go online alot
at night when I get off work. Darn that caffine keeping me awake. I can't afford to call mom anymore, well at least not as
much as I used to. I kinda went WAY over my minutes talking to her, so instead I joined CafeMom. An online group, sort of
like MySpace but for moms. It's my online support group/system. Since I seem to have no friends anymore, I do still need people
to talk to. At least there, they all know what it's like to be in my shoes, cuz they are there.
Anyway, enough about that.
Sophia is finally one YAY!!! She's pulling herself up to standing, she's got a few more teeth. And she does this really weird
spinning thing on the floor sometimes. She'll sit (or lay as the case was yesterday) on the floor and rotate. She won't be
moving any other way but around in a circle. It's really quite odd.
Dyami is loving school. Which is such a change from
the first day of school. Hell the first week of school. He's really excited about when he gets to bring snack too.
Alexandra
is still my little princess. She's learning new words everyday. I know she's almost 3 why isn't she talking better... She
never really wanted to learn how to talk. She likes her sign language. As long as we know what she wants she doesn't really
need words, and I'm not one to force it. She's still not really willing to do the whole potty training thing either, which
is kind of a bummer, but hey... I tried to force it with Dyami and it never really worked out, when I forced it. It's just
to happen, when it happens.
Celeste is doing good in school. She's a smart girl, has some issues with math and she did
fail a spelling test or two. Which is odd because I think they were review words from last year. She is ahead of her class
with cursive though. Peace started to teach that in second grade, so she's pretty confident about that this year. She does
seem to have issues with a few kids at school too. Not serious issues, but it seems to me that she tries too hard to amke
frineds and gets really upset and bummed out when they have other friends or, don't have the time for her. I hope my littel
chat with her about it helped, but who knows she tends to ignore me a whole lot more than she should. I guess thats what I
get for being the "evil step-mom" I mean aren't all Step-Moms evil? Thats what we are all brought up believing in the fairytales.
The
house is still good. My rose bushe that was 10 feet tall and hidden amonst the weird tree like thing is doing great. I cut
it all down and it bushed out and is going to bloom again I think. I am very excited about it. We got the pipe fixed, that
was a very un-fun project! I hate plumbing and I hate it even more when I have to be wrenched inbetween a sistern wall and
the ceiling and the pipes. It is a very tight fit where the pipe broke. Mike got a really cool block window thing for where
the dryer is. If you don't look too close it looks pretty darned good.
Well I think it's about time for me to head off
to bed. The kids have school tomorrow and I'll have to be up at 6:30am. Ugh!!! 6 hours of sleep! Darned Caffine!!
(09/30/2007)
Today was a good day. I canceled my MySpace account so I should spend more time online updating those of
you who read this website more. Today at home we did much to prepare for Sophia's first birthday. Only 6 days away!!. How
exciting I'll have no babies under the age of one. Anyway. We finally finished the bathroom. Meaing I finally put the cabinet
doors back up and cleaned all the painting stuff out of it. Only problem now is the sink drain needs new plumbing. Mike broke
it trying to climb out of cistern one night and well, we thought a quick cheap caulk job woudl work. Well I kinda knew it
wouldn't but I didn't feel like a big plumbing project. Turns out I was right all along and a big plumbing project is exactly
what we needed all along. so thats what I get to do tomorrow before I go to work. While I was at work the kids and MIke emptied
alot more boxes. Totally cool I say. While I was at work today we had very few customers. So few I managed to convince MIke
to visit me with the kids. While Dyami was eating his dinner he happily announced that the tooth he had been wiggling for
nearly two days now had come out. YAY!!! Dyami has lost his fist tooth. I think he might actually show that for show and tell
on Friday. Hey, I think that would be cool for a 4 year old to show to his class. Sophia is still a huge baby. She's not yet
crawling up on hands and knees, but she does get around very well. She can also sit herself upright. She does it all the time
now, even when I'm trying to change a diaper. Well thats all I got right now. Till next time.
(9/9/2007)
Well I told you it would be a while. Not yet a full month but you all understand why. I finally got pictures
up. Ok so I finally took pictures of the house to put up. Wow.. a tad under a month living here and we are still living out
of boxes for some things. We have gotten a lot done though. We re-built the playset. Yet the kids are never on it anymore.
They like to walk along our wall now. Eventually they will go back to it. We installed new locks for the doors and a cat door
to the basement. To hide all her mess that she makes. We painted the bathroom. Ok so I still have to finish the ceiling. My
neck and shoulders started to hurt really bad so I held off. Now I have no excuse, it needs to get done. We still need to
get paint for the trim and funky cabinets and selves for the bathroom yet. But there is no rush. Our main goal was to get
rid of that hideous wall paper. Let's see what else have we done. I planted my chives in the ground. I dug up all the nasty
grass in the driveway. Well not all of it. I ran out of time yesterday so 95% is done, it looks loads better than it used
to so I can hold off on the rest of it for now. Oh yes today I managed to finish my project of installing the washer in the
basement. That was a wet messy project. I wanted to surprise Mike when he got back from drill but I had enough of the kids
in public so I waited for him to get home to get the right pieces I needed to finish. It is installed and works. We took the
washer that we got with the house and moved that to the basement for storage purposes. Yes it looks very odd having the pipes
still in the kitchen but I can deal with that. The washer is out of the kitchen and it looks more like a kitchen now. Now
all we have to do is figure out a way to get the dryer out of our bedroom and into the basement and we'll be sitting pretty.
Well thats about it for what we've done in the past month. mixed in with dealing with the ex-landlord and moving boxes around
and getting kids to school and working. Not sure how we do it. Really not sure. Till next time.
(8/13/2007)
This is probably the last post I'll be able to do for a while. We close on the house tomorrow and then we
begin to haul all our stuff to the house. We've got the van loaded and the car as loaded as it can get considering we need
it to take the kids to Mom's house tomorrow morning. Ah yes, I got the job at Panera. They are paying me what i thought they
would and I would have been getting 40 hrs a week had Mike's job not called him back. They called him back to work first shift
the same day I had my meeting with the GM to fill out paper work and get an idea of what hours I would be able to work. Oh
well I have a managers meeting on Wednesday I'll just have to explain things to her then. Hopefully we will get internet at
the house soon so I can get pics of the house up here for all those that can't make it to the house anytime soon. But I wouldn't
hold your breath for it. It may be awhile before we think of getting it hooked up. On another note Lexi freaked out and nearly
had a nervous break down (yes at 2 yrs old!) when we pulled apart and loaded up the playset Mike built for the kids. She thought
Grandma abd Grandpa were taking it away for good. She loves that thing! Hopefully we get it to the house soon and rebuilt
so she can calm down about it. Well it's about a half hour before midnight and I have a long day tomorrow, I really should
try to go to bed. thats all until we get internet connection at the house.
